First and foremost I am a passionate fly fisherman and have been for many years. 

I get an enormous amount of enjoyment being out in the countryside by a beautiful lake or in a river fly fishing. Unfortunately, I used to find work tended to get in the way of my passion for fly fishing so when I retired from work, I needed no encouragement to spend as much time as I could getting more involved in an activity that I am truly passionate about. 

After all these years of fishing I want to pass this passion on to others so that’s why I decided to take the necessary qualifications to enable me to teach what I consider the best sport in the world.
