A word on the qualification...
In order to become a fly fishing instructor you have to have met certain standards set by the Game Angling Instructors Association (GAIA).

This qualification enables me to offer coaching in various casting techniques and also covers the more critical points in the organisation of angling sessions.
The Fishcoach licence I hold confirms that I:

• Have been assessed to Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Angling (game)
• Have attended a Good Practice in Child Protection course.
• Have been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau.
• Hold a valid first-aid certificate.
• Hold public liability and personal accident insurance for the purpose of coaching angling.

Through this qualification I am a member of the Game Angling Instructors Association and also a member of the Trout and Salmon Association.
